Armour Shield Roofing Services Coalville provides Velux and skylight installation across Coalville and the surrounding Leicestershire area. Free, no-obligation quotes, £5 million public liability insurance, and a 15-year written workmanship guarantee.
In Coalville’s older terraces around Hugglescote and the town centre, where extending outwards isn’t an option, a loft conversion is often the way to gain a room — and it lives or dies on good roof light. We fit VELUX and similar roof windows into slate and tiled slopes alike, flashing them properly so they stay weathertight on this exposed higher ground. On the newer estates at Greenhill and Bardon, a well-placed skylight can turn a dark landing or boxy loft into genuinely usable space.
Velux and roof-window installation starts from around £695; a standard supply-and-fit commonly runs £695–£1,800 depending on size, access and finishing. Free fixed quote. Full price ranges →
“Good, friendly company. Finished the work quickly and competently. I am very pleased with my new roof and at a good price.”
Yes. Armour Shield Roofing Services Coalville provides Velux and skylight installation throughout Coalville (LE67) and the surrounding area, including Hugglescote, Ellistown, Whitwick. Quotes are free and no-obligation, and the work is covered by £5 million public liability insurance and a 15-year written workmanship guarantee.
Part of it is. North West Leicestershire District Council has a Hugglescote Conservation Area covering the historic heart of the village, and Coalville town centre and Ravenstone have conservation areas of their own. For most houses it makes little difference to ordinary repairs, but dormers and roof extensions face tighter rules there, and a listed building such as the church of St John the Baptist needs listed building consent for work that affects its character.
