Armour Shield Roofing Services Coalville provides Velux and skylight installation across Shepshed and the surrounding Leicestershire area. Free, no-obligation quotes, £5 million public liability insurance, and a 15-year written workmanship guarantee.
Back bedrooms with an hour of sun a day are a familiar complaint in the deep, narrow terraces around Brook Street and Church Street, and a roof window in the rear slope fixes that without an extension or a dormer. On slate we use the low-profile flashing kit for thin coverings; we size the opening to the existing rafter spacing and make the reveal good inside, so the window sits flush and stays watertight. The rear extensions behind many Shepshed houses bring the other kind of job: a flat-roof rooflight over the middle of a kitchen-diner, where no back-wall window reaches. One written price covers the window, the flashing kit and the fitting.
Velux and roof-window installation starts from around £695; a standard supply-and-fit commonly runs £695–£1,800 depending on size, access and finishing. Free fixed quote. Full price ranges →
