Armour Shield Roofing Services Coalville provides roof cleaning and moss removal across Ibstock and the surrounding Leicestershire area. Free, no-obligation quotes, £5 million public liability insurance, and a 15-year written workmanship guarantee.
Moss needs shade, and Ibstock has less of it than Coalville. Even so, Sence Valley Forest Park, Battram Wood to the east and mature gardens in between shade plenty of north-facing slopes, and the semis’ clay and early concrete tiles hold it more readily than the terraces’ smooth slate. Nothing is jet-washed — that scours the face off an old tile — so the moss comes off with a hand scraper and brush, and a biocide treatment means it is slow to re-establish. What has fallen into the gutters and valleys is bagged, and any fault the moss was hiding is flagged before we come down.
Roof cleaning and moss removal commonly ranges £300–£900 depending on roof size, pitch and access. Gutter clearing can be added. Free quote. Full price ranges →
